  1. Set at least one goal each morning
  2. Prioritize time everyday for YOU
  3. Treat yourself like you would treat your best friend
  4. Trust your body and intuition
  5. Say ”yes “ to help
  6. Say ” no“ – put up your ‘self love walls’
  7. Don’t speak badly about yourself
  8. Be gentle on yourself
  9. Give yourself permission to grieve and take a break from grief
  10.  Avoid negativity and drama
  11. Unplug
  12. Let go of what is out of your control
  13. Use your village of support
  14. Laugh
  15. Take naps
  16. Get moving- outside, walk, run, garden
  17. Take up a hobby just for you
  18. Be patient – grief comes in waves and takes time
  19. Write down one thing you are grateful for each night before bed
  20. Repeat steps 1-20

We must make time everyday for self-care. When we care for ourselves, it allows us to cope in healthier ways and have energy for this grief journey.
