Looking towards 2023 for 3Hopeful Hearts
New Year’s is a time to reflect on the year that’s passed as well as set intentions for the one that lies ahead. This time seems particularly meaningful to me as we embark on a new year with an enriched team of staff, volunteers, and a CSU Intern. While I am grateful to lead this incredible organization as the Executive Director, 3Hopeful Hearts belongs to every one of us – our served families, volunteers, donors, supporters, and of course, our phenomenal staff.
In 2023, we will embark on creating satellite outreach programs in Denver and Wyoming, creating more opportunities for youth to understand the grief journey, and finding more sustainable funding sources. As a valued part of the 3Hopeful Hearts circle, you are an important advocate! We want to ensure that you know and can describe our mission to your friends and family, so we’ll be working on communication tools to help with that as well.
Thank you for all the ways in which you support 3Hopeful Hearts’ work. My best wishes to you and yours for a hopeful start to 2023.

Introducing…Alexa Dominque
Hello, My name is Lexi and I am so thrilled to be a part of this beautiful organization! There are many reasons to be passionate about this kind of work, but it’s very special for me because of my personal experiences in life. I am so excited to be assisting the 3Hopeful Hearts family with anything in order to provide much needed services to beautiful individuals, children, and families. I appreciate and admire the mission that this center is based around. I have been welcomed with open arms, I am so lucky to be involved with the community in this way. I hold this place so close to my heart.

Grant Writing Helper
3Hopeful Hearts was, and continues to be, our lifeline after the sudden loss of our 18 year old son, Malcolm, in 2021. I am happy to give back by seeking and writing grants to fund 3Hopeful Hearts so other shattered families can learn to carry on.
In my day job, I am Chief of Staff for another amazing organization - TriWest Group. TriWest is a small consulting firm working to improve mental healthcare across the country. I have 30 years of experience in health and human services in the public, private and government sectors. I am driven by my mission to make the world a better place in tiny ways, however I can.
Outside of work, I love being on one of my bikes. I know we shouldn't have favorites but my orange mountain bike is the clear winner. I am happy to be a tiny part of 3Hopeful Hearts!
Colorado Gives Day 2022:

267 bears were donated!
Throughout the months of November and December, nurses at Greeley Hospital helped to coordinate a Bear Drive to help supply our Bear2Hope Program.
We are completely blown away by the amount of bears and support we received from the entire Greeley Hospital Staff. Nurse Nicole mentioned that all departments helped pitch in for this amazing cause!

Mosaic Hearts
Families have the opportunity to honor their baby or child in the form of a Mosaic Heart. These glass mosaic hearts are displayed at the Center for Hope in the west facing window. Each heart will be displayed for an entire year and is completely customizable. 3Hopeful Hearts provides the materials, the heart making class, and name plaque.
These mosaic hearts are symbolic of how we uniquely reconstruct our shattered hearts piece by piece after child loss. The level of investment in 3Hopeful Hearts Center for Hope is $300.00 for this artistic memorial of your child.
